    • Directed the flagship Missouri chapter of a nationwide, student-run, student-funded, 501 (c)(4), political advocacy organization. Recruited, trained, and coordinated more than 150 student volunteers. Developed and supervised leadership program, teaching students how to design and implement campaign plans, conduct research, build coalitions, work with media, mobilize grassroots support, and organize events.
    • Partnered with campus and community groups, including regional and statewide non-profits, local, state and federal elected officials, government agencies, academic departments, student governments, and area shelters and pantries to orchestrate citywide service events, press conferences, large events, voter registration drives, a candidate forum, environmental expos, and a campus sustainability panel.
    • Established media relationships, pitched stories, organized press conferences, assembled press packets, drafted news advisories and releases. Generated coverage from regional and national print and broadcast media, ranging from the Wall Street Journal to local radio and television affiliates.
    • Planned and directed successful campaigns—initiated a campus-wide computer power-management policy; facilitated a fundraising program that provided 1100 metro and bus passes for the women and children at the Women’s Safe House; helped to pass “College Student Relief Act of 2007”; ran a successful voter mobilization drive to increase youth voter turnout in the 2006 mid-term elections.
    • Produced biannual chapter reports, weekly listserv emails, promotional campaign and organizational materials, letters to the editor, and opinion-editorials. Oversaw and edited student-produced materials
